Our clients, based near Portsmouth have an exciting opportunity for a Mould Shop Setter to join their growing team.  

We are recruiting for a Mould Shop Setter who will be responsible for supporting moulding manufacturing operations by undertaking key tasks in order to achieve production targets to meet business objectives. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

 Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, your role will be to:- 

• Set moulding equipment with new and serviced mould tools – with an understanding of all of auxiliary equipment that is attached to the process 

• Document test results – Using our clients in house system to record data. 

• Quality check patrolling – while working within our workmanship standards 

• First off & Last off product inspection 

• Working to EN9100 standards 

• A team completing all the maintenance required within our clients' mould shop to keep it running. 

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a manufacturing environment, within moulding but be willing to learn how our clients work and their unique product line. This is a demanding role that requires a fast pace and high attention to detail. 

• Have previous experience working within a similar role 

• Engineering apprenticeship level 3 NVQ minimum or equivalate qualification 

• Good hand-to-eye co-ordination
