My client is a part of a global manufacturing business which has several sites across the UK.  Due to growth and recent acquisitions out client is now looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their Projects division.  Reporting into the Engineering lead, you play a pivotal role in delivering on a number of improvement and expansion projects.   This role will be based at Chesterfield however some travel to other sites will occasionally be required.    

As an experienced Project Engineer, you will be managing a number of exciting projects including the ongoing development and improvement of a new facility.

Responsibilities will include:-

• Overseeing site projects
• Site Project Management of all Capex Projects
• Contractor Management ensuring Health & Safety procedures are in line with company policies
• Sourcing cost-effective solutions & working with OEM’s/Suppliers for best return on investment
• Completion of snag lists, site handover protocols and updating site folders.
• Effective planning, co-ordination, and communication with site departments across all sites
