We have a great opportunity for a Compressor & Installation Engineer to join the team at a very well-known and successful organisation based in Leigh! The company is growing and offers exceptional investment and ongoing development for all their staff, providing fantastic training and the opportunity for overtime!

You will be working alongside an amazing equipment installation team visiting the clients sites to undertake installation of workshop equipment. In addition you will be testing , servicing and performing ongoing maintenance and repair of ancillary equipment. This will involve occasionally overnight stays to accommodate the client demands so having a driving licence is essential for this position.

Offering a permanent contract, salary of £28000 - £35000 dependant on experience, working hours Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, great opportunity for career growth and development, amazing team of engineers to work with, opportunity to visit clients with a company vehicle and mobile phone provided!

What will you be doing as a Compressor & Installation Engineer?

  • Visiting client sites performing installation of compressed air equipment
  • Repair, servicing and maintenance of the equipment
  • You will arrange ongoing scheduled maintenance for existing clients of their equipment
  • Perform fault finding and diagnostics
  • Arranging to attend sites for emergency repairs


What skills and experience will you need as a Compressor & Installation Engineers?

  • You will have proven experience working with compressors, hydraulic, pipework and related equipment
  • Have the flexibility to work away with overnight stays
  • Experienced in installation, testing, commissioning and servicing of compressed air systems
  • You have a GEA accreditation
  • Hold an engineering qualification
  • Confidant working with in ground lifts and brake testers
  • Have great communication skills and are self-motivated
  • Work well as a team and also individually
  • Your fit and able to perform a manual role
