BMS Engineer / BMS Controls Engineer 

We are looking to recruit a BMS Engineer for an engineering company, based in the North West, working on UK Wide sites. The type of project ranges from District Heating, waste to energy sites, biomass, solar and power storage, offering a decentralized energy production. The company is the leader in Constructing these type projects, managing the construction from initial work win, to design, install, commission and maintain for the product life cycle.

Responsibilities will include -

  • Commissioning and setting to run PLC control systems across various sites in construction.
  • Allen Bradley
  • PLC Programming
  • HMI Graphics
  • Work alongside project engineers and independently to commission and set to run PLC systems across various sites.
  • Excel at fault finding and correction in new and pre-existing installations, using manufacturers data sheet and electrical panel drawings.
  • Establish network communications between all PLC controllers and to SCADA supervisor PC.
  • Communicate effective;y through written reporting, Teams Meetings and on-site meetings with the team and wider company.

The right person will be able to demonstrate experience in basic PC or BMS install or programming.

Have a basic understanding of electrical principles and / or electronics.

A working background in construction, industrial or automation would be ideal.

Happy to travel and lodge throughout the UK, sites are based up and down the country, so being mobile is essential for the role.
