Field Service Engineer (Switchgear) - Liverpool
£30,000 - £55,000 DOE + Vehicle & Fuel card

Our client are currently on the lookout for Field Service Engineers based in Liverpool. The comapny is a well established and globally recognised organisation delivering specialist switchgear products and services.

Responsibilities include (But not limited to):

• Fielding enquiries from existing customers relating to technical support, advice and future service offerings
• Generating quotations for service related work
• Safely perform all necessary service realated tasks at the head office and customer premises, including switchgear service & maintenance, switchgear upgrades & life extension projects, protection relay testing and upgrades, switchgear breadown investiagation & repairs.
• Undetaking pre-mobilisation duties, including project specific risk assessments, method statements etc
• As and when necessary, participating in out of hours call out service.

Education & Background:

• Ideally the succesful candidate will be a time served apprentice in an Electrical Engineering background
• Educated to a minimum of ONC level in Electrical engineering or equivalent
• Familiar with producing technical reports
• Experience in the fundamentals of electrical switchgear, it's operation, maintenance and fault finding.
