One of the UK's premier Facilities Management (FM) providers are looking to recruit a Shift Lead following a retirement, where you would lead a 2 engineer strong engineer shift team across the above shift rota, to ensure technical delivery and compliance across M&E works in the client building.

The facility is a corporate banking headquarters building, it is a, modern, fast paced and critical environment, home to numerous assets, Mechanical, Electrical (HV and LV) etc with the FM provider deploying a strong 24/7 shift team

While we are looking to recruit a strong engineer, the role still provides excellent training and development opportunities.

The role will be split between "on the tools" work, and deskbound PC work, allocating jobs, speaking to the Helpdesk and completing paperwork.

Actions will include:

• Strong technical competence around supervision of all Critical systems (Electrical & HVAC)
• Supervision of all engineering related works undertaken on the portfolio
• Delivery of Safe operational programme documentation
• Ensure high quality delivery of PPM and reactive works to meet SLA
• Implementation and Delivery of relevant ICE processes and procedures for portfolio
• HV/LV Authorised person for site(s)
• Carry out regular appraisals of their engineering team
• Ensure employer's standards are met, including dress code, attitude, pride, self-respect and respect to others, positivity and team working
• Understand and implement H&S policy requirements 
• Regularly review risk assessments and audit H&S compliance of direct team and peer group

We need from you:

• A strong level of qualification - either electrical and/or mechanical
• Clear experience, ideally some time in a similar level of role
