Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain CNC machines, ensuring proper setup and calibration.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to program CNC machines accordingly.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Load and unload materials into CNC machines and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines to minimise downtime.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
  • Keep accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced and materials used.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Cutting Machine Operator or in a similar role preferred.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a timely manner.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials required.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in a production environment.
