This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on one of their high-profile commercial contracts in the City of London. The company is a well established maintenance provider who likes to progress their engineers career with further opportunities of training and development.
Based on a contract maintaining 10 different sites in the City and Holborn the maintenance engineer will be working Monday to Friday with the assistance of another engineer for 3 ½ days a week with the rest taking care of their own sites. This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer who wants variety in their day to day and the opportunity to take ownership of their own sites. This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer who is wanting to gain experience managing their own site and is a great platform into a supervisory/managerial role.

- PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
- AHUs
- FCUs
- Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals
- Sprinkler Systems
- Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
- Tap Temperatures
- Chilled Water Systems
- Plumbing
- Generators
- 3 Phase Power
- Emergency Lights
- Fire Alarms
- Troubleshooting
- Pressurisation units
- BMS Operation
- Booking in subcontractors/ management of subcontractors
- Log book control
- Client management, including reporting on contract performance
Requirements
- Electrically or Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ (or equivalent)
- Apprentice trained - desirable
- Building Services Maintenance experience (Min 3 Years Experience)
- Career driven
- Strong communication skills
- Effective team management skills
- Very Client facing
Package
- £42,000 - £45,000 per annum
- Zone 1-2 Travel Card
- Monday to Friday 8-5
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holiday
