This role offers the change to join a growing plastics manufacture, joining a fantastic inclusive engineering team, for a company with over 50 years of heritage. Do you want to get involved in a large capital investment project? With a large project scheduled, this role offers the opportunity to work within a machine intensive environment with the promise of an exciting project to look forward to in the near future. This role will certainly present the challenge to keep your interests invested in the role.

My client is head hunting an electrically biased engineering to increase the headcount in their department following 2 retirements, this is a nights-based role which will start off with a period of 3 months where you will be working days until you are upto speed.

Your responsibilities include;

  • Be responsible for Maintenance, fault finding and repair of all the machinery and plant equipment.
  • Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance to ensure that downtime is minimised.
  • Ensure that correct documentation is completed at all times.
  • Be responsible for the testing of all safety equipment on site, action any improvement actions. Including testing of fire pumps.
