My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Drainage Design Engineer to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Liverpool.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Earthworks Design and Residential Drainage or Sewerage Designs using Microdrainage.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience using Microdrainage, Causeway, Civils 3D, PDS or AutoCAD.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Flood Risk, Surface Water, Groundworks, Drainage and Infrastructure Projects for Private Sector Clients, Water Companies and Local Authorities. You will also have the opportunity to manage projects and mentor team members.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategy.

-Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage for S104 and S106.

-Drainage Area Planning.

-Earthworks.
