The Company
A market-leading manufacturer looking for an Electronic Technician to join the team.
The Role
To check the time and quality of work.
Experience in a similar role – aptitude to learn
Ability to perform general wiring functions to include but not limited to; manufacture of cable assemblies, wiring of control box/panel, cable identification, cable routing, terminating of cables etc
Ability to read and understand CAD drawings, circuit diagrams, and wiring schematics. Ability to undertake light mechanical assembly work.
Familiar with workmanship standards and repair techniques.
Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Able to understand & extract sufficient information from all sources, including drawings, circuit diagrams, existing hardware or verbally from other co-workers.
Familiar with relevant elements of the Company's Quality.
The Candidate
An electrical/electronic qualification
Technical hands-on experience preferred
Able to read engineering drawings
Experience in assembly, and testing of wired electrical panels and assemblies.
Experience of hand-soldering of electronic circuit boards
Proficiency in computer use
Use of standard workshop hand tools
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £20,000- £30,000pa to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
