Electrical Contracts Manager

Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a well-established family run Electrical company based in the Midlands.

Our client has been operating for over 30 years and have secured key contracts within the commercial, Industrial and Leisure sectors and are now looking to expand their Electrical division, by adding experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to their team.

Key duties of the Electrical Contracts Manager include:

• Manage multiple tenders and projects throughout various stages.
• Procurement of materials and labour, obtaining quotations and negotiations.
• Organising and managing direct labour and subcontractors.
• Effective cost management and forecasting
• Identifying, documenting, and costing project variations
• Compiling final accounts and liaising with Quantity Surveyors
• Establishing and maintaining client relations
• Compiling technical submittals
• Undertaking Risk & Method Statements
• Carry out site surveys and prepare reports.
• Diagnose onsite issues and advise on work required.
• Attend/Lead Site and Client Meetings as required.
• Co-ordination with all trades
• Ensuring all work meets with expected standards.
• Client handovers and demonstrations
• Quality control

Experience Required:

• 5+ industry years’ experience in a similar role (or experience within a similar role)
• 18th Edition, CSCS Gold Card, NVQ Level 3-Electrical
• Industry based qualifications ONC/HNC/HND
• Preferred work experience in the Commercial sector
• SMSTS (Desired)
• 2391 (Desired)

The Package:

• Salary - £55,000 upwards Car, Bupa and expenses
