Position : Production Technician, Assembly Technician,

Hours of Work : Monday to Friday days (half day on Friday)

Salary : £23,000-£24,000

Hybrid : No - this role is on site

Other : Security clearance will be required

About the Role :

• Electronic and mechanical assembly
• Following written assembly instructions and drawings
• Test of completed products
• Electro-mechanical assembly (PCBs and cables into mechanical housings using various fixings, coatings and encapsulation equipment)
• Automated testing (using computer assisted test equipment)
• Recording the completion of operations using computer software
• Reporting of deviations and non-conformances relating to the assembly and test of product

Although some training and development is available, you will need some previous experience of manufacturing / assembly / test of small electro mechanical type products and components.

You will need to be able to obtain basic security clearance

Experience of carrying out close tolerance work is preferred, and you will need to be able to use a computer and follow test script prompts (training provided)
