Job Description:

Madisons Engineering are working with a leading manufacturing company who are currently recruiting for an Assistant Engineering Manager, this is the PERFECT ROLE for a Senior Team Leader, Engineering Supervisor or a Maintenance manager to step and take on more responsibility. The Assistant Engineering Manager will play a major role in the planning of projects and organising the maintenance team on the machinery, improving efficiencies and involved in CAPEX project as well as heading up the planned maintenance schedule. This is a great opportunity to join the business as they have been investing heavily into the business circa £150m across their impressive 16+ Factories. Skills required for the Engineering Manager:

• Control and manage maintenance activities using preventative measures to minimise risk of downtime.
• Management of the contractors as well as leading a team of electrical and mechancial engineers.
• Ensuring rapid response to breakdowns and efficient follow up to identify corrective actions.
• Co-ordinate all activities associated with CAPEX applications and delivery of approved projects.
• Deliver great leadership and coaching to staff across the business.
• Plan, co-ordinate and manage all site engineering and maintenance activities, safely and within agreed budget
• Ensure that all engineers and suppliers are compliant with SHEQ expectations
• Engineering Manager must have an engineering qualification
