Our client, a leading company in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an Array Cable Installation Engineer to join their team. As an Array Cable Installation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the construction and installation of offshore wind farms. This is a contract position based in Swindon, UK, with the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the renewable energy industry.
Job Requirements
- University degree in a relevant engineering field
- Strong experience in construction projects of offshore wind farms
- Deeply founded understanding of tendering and contracts used in export cable installation
- Strong project management experience in offshore logistics
- Proven track record in offshore wind construction
Key Responsibilities
- Development of offshore wind farm installation logistics
- Support procurement with the preparation of contracts and vessel charters with offshore construction companies
- Technical assessment of installation methodologies
- Support Interface Management to scope-related internal and external stakeholders (work packages, other projects, contractors, authorities)
- Close collaboration with other work packages and projects including knowledge and experience sharing
Deliverables
- Deliver successful transport and installation of export cables
- Obtain as-built documents for handover to Operations
