We are recruiting on behalf of our Client, a UK-based Manufacturer of equipment in the textile industry for a Service Engineer.

The role is Mon-Fri Days Only 

Hours Mon - Thurs 8 am-5.30 pm, Friday - 8 am-12 pm

Wage is Negotiable Dependent on Experience

The role is very diverse and involves a mix of site visits as well as working within the production facility based in Leeds. 

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver Service activities (which include: installation commissioning, customer training, repairs, preventative maintenance services, calibration services, and remote technical support by phone and e-mail to achieve satisfied customers.)
• Installation and service of textile manufacturing equipment.
• Assist the design department in product development projects.
• Ensure the highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and ensure that issues are resolved in the fastest way possible.
• Be responsible for reporting accurately and promptly, all activities as required (e.g. Service Reports, Expense Reports, etc.)

Requirements

• A Valid Driving License is Essential for this role
• Mechanical and Electrically Qualified is Desirable but will consider Time Served/Experience in a similar role
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• The ability to ensure that others follow instructions and directions through clear accurate communications
• Support other team members.
• The ability to organize tasks and meet targets.
