Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an a POS Development Engineer to work for an established POS manufacturer based in Leicester
This position is a straight permanent position
The Job:
- Responsible for producing development solutions to support the Prototyping, Estimating & Client Services teams
- Develop cost effective unit to suit the most effective route to manufacture
- Conduct site surveys as and when required
- Salary is expected to be £45k but dependant on your experience
- 28 days holiday per year plus Christmas shut-down and a day off on your birthday
About You:
- Need to have previous experience in a POS business
- Able to use SolidWorks and MS Office software
- Ability to think laterally, create solutions to a given design brief
- Be pro-active, inquisitive and challenging
- Self motivated and able to manage projects from brief through to production
- Ability to multi task between multiple projects
- Capable of preparing drawings and planograms
- Sustainability to be front of mind when developing solutions
