A luxury British car manufacturer known for producing high-performance sports cars is currently looking to hire a HV Battery Design (PHEV Design Lead). The successful candidate will be responsible for the design of HV battery pack including the coordination of related engineering activities for PHEV vehicle applications across all programmes.
 
The HV Battery Design (PHEV Design Lead) will:

• Lead the generation of system specification and be responsible for delivery of hardware that meets system targets.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of HV battery pack incl. tolerance studies.
• Manage and maintain HV battery pack and HV systems CAD assembly within the whole programme buck.
• Extensive liaison with internal HV Battery Systems team to achieve functional targets of HV Batteries.
• Lead the 3D concept design generation of HV battery pack for PHEV application in alignment with HV systems hardware.

 
 
The HV Battery Design (PHEV Design Lead) will have:

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and/or related field.
• High Voltage Senior Authorised Person Qualification.
• High Voltage Live Working Qualification.
• Significant experience in Siemens NX CAD software + Experience of using Teamcenter for data management.
• Experience in designing the internals of a BEV vehicle with focus on cell/module arrangement and cooling.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self-motivated, eager to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Experience in cross-functional teams.
