PTS Site Engineer
Location – Swindon
Rate – Competitive
My client is a Tier 1 contractor based in Swindon, who is currently looking for a site engineer with the rope access competency and PTS to work on the site on a long term contract position. The candidate would first be in Swindon till October and then move to Somerset.
Responsibilities:
- Both jobs involve soil nailing/ rock bolting and netting, so somebody with railway geotechnical experience would be ideal.
- The candidate has to be fluent with setting out using GPS/ Total Station/ levelling (dumpy level, laser) etc.
Requirements:
- Must have PTS rail competence and rope access. RD8000 CAT and Genny ticket is essential
- Experience as a Site Engineer role within rail projects.
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and setting out techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Able to work in a team and communicate effectively.
