Multi-Skilled Engineer - Food Manufacturing - Preston - Up to £51K
Multiple roles including:
- Double Days Shift
- Night Shift
My Preston based food manufacturing client are currently recruiting for 3x fully qualified, Engineers to join them on a full-time permanent basis with various shifts involved including double days and a night shift.
Overview
- You will be part of a dedicated Engineering maintenance team, ensuring the smooth running of all machinery in the production area.
- Providing pro-active and reactive engineering cover to maintain and improve the performance of the plant.
- Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and correcting equipment issues.
- Assist with root cause analysis to promote future reliability.
- Proactive involvement in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Uphold high standards in GMP, Food Safety and Health & Safety, to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
- Keep your skills updated to the latest available technologies available.
Requirements
- Educated to HNC, HND or degree Level or equivalent and apprenticeship time served.
- At least 2 years of engineering experience post apprenticeship, ideally served within an FMCG environment.
