A world-renowned luxury car manufacturer is actively looking for a HV Battery Design (PHEV Battery Components). The successful candidate will be responsible for design of HV battery pack components and other HV components for hybrid and electric vehicles across all programs.

The HV Battery Design (PHEV Battery Components) will:
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of HV battery pack HV/LV components.
- Liaise with interfacing system owners and package teams ensuring compatibility.
- Extensive liaison with internal HV Battery Systems team to achieve functional targets of HV Batteries focusing on electrical behaviour.
- Lead the 3D concept design generation of HV battery pack components and other HV components.
- Develop and record best practices and support development of design manuals to handle the Powertrain Electrification requirements of today and the future.
The HV Battery Design (PHEV Battery Components) will have:
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and/or related field.
- High Voltage Senior Authorised Person Qualification.
- Experience in dimensioning and design of HV-connectors, HV and LV harnesses.
- High Voltage Live Working Qualification.
- Knowledge of relevant vehicle legislation and certification requirements for HV automotive battery packs and HV systems.
- Significant experience in Siemens NX CAD software.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self-motivated, eager to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
