As a Junior CAD Technician, your responsibilities will include:

•  Create rendered images of product concept(s) using chosen software (ideally SketchUp)

•  Communicate and explain design ideas effectively with the team

•  Create and modify artworks using Adobe Illustrator

•  Actively control and monitor workload using NPD/EPD project log on Microsoft Teams

•  Work hand in hand with production on the manufacture of products and samples

•  Work with the purchasing team to specify and source new components and materials

 We’re looking for a Junior CAD Technician with the following skills and experience:

•  Previous experience as a Junior CAD Technician or have a qualification in a design subject

•  Strong communications skills, both written and verbal & capable of basic maths

•  Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

•  Experience with using Adobe Illustrator and Google SketchUp

•  Creative thinker, effective problem solver with a keen eye for detail

•  Effective and true team player with solid organisational & prioritisation skills

In return, the successful Junior CAD Technician will receive a salary of £23,000 - £28,000, plus the following benefits…
