Job Title:           Mechanical Fitter

Place of Work/Group Company:  Nijhuis Saur Industries Mobile Water Solutions, Stoke

Summary:

The Mechanical Fitter will construct all products (standard/non standard) in line with quality documentation and quality system including GA & P&ID diagrams.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Ability to work with ABS & UPVC pipework and fittings
• Ability to read and terminate electrically to an industry acceptable standard when required, to termination and schematic diagrams
• Working with other teams within the business to achieve overall objectives within specified timescale

Fabrication and welding of carbon and stainless steel assemblies

• Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, policies and requirements are strictly adhered to at all times
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
• Provide on-the-job training/support to new team members
• Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents
• Exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way, and be sensitive to audience diversity
• The role will be subject to standardised procedures and practices to ensure products are delivered to our quality standards

Required Skills/Qualifications: 

3+ years fabrication experience in a similar role (essential)

English, Maths & IT GCSE or equivalent (essential)

Knowledge of Microsoft/ Google suite (desirable)

FLT/ Crane operating licence would be an advantage
