My client is an internationally established business whom specialise in engineering services to the marine sector. Due to ongoing demand, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established team in Falmouth. The successful Candidate will be mechanically qualified and have experience within a mechanical design position. You must also have a driving licence and be based within commutable distance of Falmouth.
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview
- Working within a team of 5, reporting to the Design Manager
- Producing mechanical design specifications that minimise cost, improve performance and are innovative
- Carrying out surveys
- Ensuring that designs are approved by relevant regulatory authorities
- Providing technical support & advice
- Using AutoCAD and Inventor
- Administrative design duties
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering or similar Bachelor's degree
- Experience within a mechanical design position
- Able to demonstrate technical writing ability
- Ideally proficient with AutoCAD and Inventor
- Based within commutable distance of Falmouth
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary: £30,000 - £36,000
- Pension
