Brief

Calibration Engineer needed for a leading engineering firm based in the Rochester area.

What the role of the Calibration Engineer entails:

Some of the main duties of the Calibration Engineer will include:

  • Undertake routine calibrations of electrical and mechanical test equipment, supporting site Operations
  • Installation of ESD work stations
  • Understand supplier / subcontractor traceability and calibration processes
  • Perform continuous improvement activities
  • Support the maintenance of test equipment, located on the shop floor

What experience you need to be the successful Calibration Engineer:

Essential:

  • Previous experience of fault finding, repairing and testing electronic equipment
  • Calibration background
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships across all levels within the business

Desirable:

  • Lean manufacturing knowledge
  • HNC / HND in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline
