Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer with expertise in conveyor belts, hydraulics/pneumatics and a knack for thriving in a fast-moving FMCG environment?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity available for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the team at a powerhouse in the FMCG sector, on a brand-new site in the Avonmouth area. You will be responsible for maintaining cutting-edge production machinery, ensuring smooth operations, and minimizing downtime.

**The Role:**

In this role, you'll primarily work with conveyor belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and motors, completing pre-planned inspections and reactive maintenance, while collaborating with the site management team in key decision making. This opportunity is with a leading player in the FMCG industry, so you will be in a fast-paced environment, with no shortage of projects.

**The Candidate:**

- Background in Mechanical maintenance essential.

- Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG.

- Strong experience working with conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics.

- Qualifications – NVQ level 3/ City & Guilds level 2 and above.

- Full UK driving licence.
