Job details:

  • Lead a team of highly skilled Multi Skilled Engineers to ensure proactive response to planned maintenance activity and breakdowns are carried out on site.
  • Liaise with contractors, issue permits and track performance of service contracts.
  • Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement, to enhance quality, safety, efficiency, and waste reduction.
  • Proactively identify potential faults and improvement opportunities on the plant and equipment to prevent future failures.
  • To ensure all maintenance information is accurately and promptly updated and maintained in SAP.
  • Drive TPM related activity within the department.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Apprentice trained with a Bachelors/Master’s degree in an Engineering or Chemical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil + Gas or Pharmaceuticals (Essential)
  • The ability to coach and encourage your team, set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance the team’s performance
  • Willing to look at candidates that are wanting a step up into a management position given that you have experience in the industries noted above

  • Salary: Paying up to £60,000
  • Shift: Monday to Friday  8:00am – 4:00pm (flexible working hours)
