Lead Manufacturing Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for a expanding business based in Nottingham.
You will work with both the Production and Engineering Teams and will lead on the identification and implementation of solutions to improve quality, reduce cost and improve efficiency in a manufacturing based environment. You will need to be hands on in your approach as you will trial and prove your solutions to ensure buy-in and support from production engineers.

- Worked in a similar role in a manufacturing / production based environment ideally both mechanical and electrical manufacturing
- Quality improvement
- Reviewing processes and products to identify cost savings such as simplifying manufacturing process or changing materials, finishes and components, etc.
- Efficiency improvement
- Knowledge of Lean, Kanban, 5S, Kaizen and / or Root cause analysis, etc.
