Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: York

Day Rate: £450 -£500 per day (outside of IR35)

Length: 6-month contract

The Company

Our client is a global market contender achieving rapid growth from its beginning in the early 2000’s that are looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their growing team. Providing telecommunications services to the rail sector on a national scale, they have a repeat history of working on major rail and distribution frameworks.

They maintain Tier 1 Supplier status through their exceptional staff, continuously investing in development and skills from their internal training academy to benefit you now, and in the future, as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’d be directly involved in current major infrastructure projects keeping you on track to consistently contribute and impact the rail sector as part of an outstanding Commercial Team in the Yorkshire Region.

As part of your role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will manage this telecoms upgrade project worth £20m. This will involve taking the main responsibility to act as the central interface for both Clients and Sub-Contractors and taking on central tasks such as claim disputes, valuations and commercial reporting - allowing you to implement and support this project till the end of the line.

Ideally, you will have experience in the rail sector with relevant market knowledge in Civil Engineering and NEC/NR contract experience, effectively managing projects to completion.
