We are recruiting for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing company based in Middlesbrough. This is a full time and permanent role.
This role offers a days only shift pattern, Monday to Friday, No Weekends!!!
The hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. Overtime may be on offer as and when.
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role involves:
- Mechanical and Electrical maintenance on a wide variety of machinery including CNC machines, automatic saws and edge polishers.
- You will also be working on water re-cycling plant, lifting equipment, single and 3 phase electrical motors, ultra-low voltage drive systems, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Breakdown response to reduce machine downtime as much as possible
- Increase efficiency through thorough execution of PPM planned maintenances schedules
- Help maintain quality of engineering stores via correct usage and communications, accurately record usage of common parts/spares from stores to minimise the risk of stock outage.
- Manufacture spare parts as required (Simple Bracketry Gaskets etc.) using hand tools, various machines, welding equipment,.
- Assist with implementation of engineering projects/cost effective repairs
- Complete appreciation/respect of overall health and safety at work
We're looking for the following;
- Previous electrical maintenance experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment (preferably 3yrs or more)
- Previous mechanical maintenance experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment (preferably 3yrs or more)
- Previous experience working on CNC machines, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Robotics (Desired but not essential), Control systems including PLC`s
- PLC Programming experience. (desirable) and PLC fault finding skills.
- Time served apprenticeship/Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in maintenance engineering
- 18th edition electrical qualifications would be preferable but not essential.
- Good Fault finding and root cause analysis skills
- Previous experience with PPM and TPM systems
- Good interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
