Position: Approved Electrician

Hours of Work: Full Time – 42.75  Hours per week (Basic)

- Although overtime is not guaranteed it is available on a regular basis.

Department: Electrical

Reporting to: Line Manager

Start Date: To be agreed

Package:

· Overtime is paid at time and a half after 42.75 hrs 

· Company van with fuel card

· Mobile phone

· Company uniform

· Saturdays – time and a half

· Sundays – time and a half

· 20 days annual leave plus Statutory Bank Holidays

· Training is provided by the company along with supported career development

· Further levels of pay are achievable once qualified. E.g., Senior electrician, QS, supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

· Qualified Electrician C&G/Apprenticeship/AM2 or Equivalent

· C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

· Inspection & Testing C&G 2391 or Equivalent , although desired we can look to put you through this if required.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to communicate with Clients at all levels

· Team player

· Awareness of H+S regulations on site

Job specification / duties

Duties detailed below but not limited to: -

· Ensure safety standards on site are met (H+S /CDM Regulations)

· Perform tasks as instructed manager

· Installation of tray work, conduit, trunking

· Installation SWA type cabling at various sizes

· Installation of distribution boards

· Electrical installation in Industrial Environments

· Boiler/ heating experience would be an advantage.
