Our Darlington office is looking for a Storesperson to join the department on a full-time permanent basis. Your main duties will include booking in deliveries, picking materials and booking out stock and to work closely with the Project Teams to coordinate stock.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Goods in – check all goods into RSE stores ensuring that all delivery documentation is thoroughly checked and processed.
  • Goods out – check that goods are ready for delivery and collection when required and that all relevant documentation is completed, checked and processed.  Also control the allocation of costs to projects.
  • Deliver and collect goods and materials as required to and from suppliers and Client sites adhering to their practices and procedures when at premises and on site (ensuring RSE used as a minimum).
  • Loading and unloading of goods.
  • Be responsible for maintaining appropriate COSHH assessments and supplier certifications for materials and consumables within own area.
  • Ensure that all documentation which is required to be recorded on to the computerised system is input correctly and in a timely fashion.
  • Carry out annual stock taking and stock checks as required.

What Do You Need?

  • Experience of processing Goods In / Out.
  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence Necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical fit and able to carry materials as required.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
  • A good knowledge of software packages including Word and Excel (for stores).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
