Role: Field Service Engineer

Location: Derbyshire

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 + Bonus + Overtime

An opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a global supplier of Blowers & Compressors. A very successful company who have recently expanded their rental business into the UK and Ireland that has grown significantly in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Servicing equipment at the depot
  • Servicing equipment in the field
  • Installing equipment
  • Maintaining equipment
  • Attending emergency breakdowns
  • Attending training in Holland & wider Europe

Candidate Requirements:

  • Electrical & Mechanical experience is essential.
  • Electrical certification & site cards are desirable.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK & abroad.
  • Occasional overnight stays.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to be organised & thorough.
  • Driving License & Passport.

This is a hybrid role, where half of your time will be spent in the Alfreton office, and the other half in the field. The role offers numerous opportunities to travel to Europe for training and to support international colleagues and this position will report into the Senior Engineer. This is a business that invests in training and development whilst providing you with the opportunity to enhance your product knowledge and develop your electrical and mechanical experience.
