Nuclear Waste Engineer

Our client is seeking a Nuclear Waste Engineer to join their team, where people are their greatest asset. Committed to providing an environment where you will feel valued and respected.

You will be providing technical support to current and future project design and implementation and the effective deployment of policy processes, systems and procedures within the waste management organisation

Essentials:
* HNC/HND (NQF Level 5) or equivalent in a scientific, environmental, or engineering discipline.
* Knowledge of environmental issues including practices, policies, legislation, and stakeholders relating to radioactive waste management (mainly nuclear required)
* Experience in developing waste inventories together with records management.

Desirables:
* Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor Certificate.
* International Movement of Dangerous Goods Certificate.
