Maintenance Engineer - London - FM Service Provider - Temp to perm - Immediate Start - Up to £24.00 per hour



Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Central London. CBW is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to be based in a very busy commercial environment. The successful candidate will have an all-around understanding of most fabric and small electrical maintenance duties and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, he or she will be required to carry out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance across a commercial environment. This will initially start on a temporary basis and you will be paid an hourly rate of up to £24.00 per hour.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00am - 16:00pm
• Immediate Start
• £24:00
• Temp to perm

 

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• To undertake basic Fabric duties
• To undertake small Electrical maintenance duties 
• Liaising with the contract management team
• Investigating complaints and taking appropriate action
• Ensuring feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs

 

Requirements

• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of most building fabric duties
• Electrical qualifications ( C+G level 2+3 , 18th edition )
• Good communication skills
• Health & Safety experience
• Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
