Our esteemed client is seeking a talented Marine Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of their expanding fleet of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) across the UK and Europe. As a Marine Engineer, you'll report directly to the Technical Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the operational readiness and efficiency of our vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake general vessel maintenance, inspections, and repairs, including engine replacements and installations.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in vessel electrical, hydraulic, and heating systems.
- Collaborate closely with crew members to identify operational challenges and provide training on vessel servicing and checks.
- Be willing to travel and work at multiple locations across the UK and Europe, with a flexible approach to working hours, including emergency repairs.
- Maintain and promote QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) standards on all vessels and sites, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in engineering roles, preferably within the marine industry.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Strong teamwork skills and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Possession of a full, valid driving license.
- Preferably holds an L3 Diploma/NVQ in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a marine-related role would be advantageous.

- Full-time employment with an international organization, subject to a probationary period.
- Shift work schedule: 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
- Opportunities to work at various sites across the UK, with the main reporting office located in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Travel to Europe, including the Netherlands and Belgium required.
