We have an exciting opportunity for you! Reporting to the Quality Director, this role is all about guaranteeing that our products meet the highest quality standards demanded by both customers and our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality-related issues across manufacturing, addressing internal, customer, and supplier concerns.
  • Champion the use of 8D & 5Y methodology for issue resolution, including root cause analysis.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and assist with adherence to ISO 9001 & AS9100.
  • Undertake quality activities for new products including APQP, PPAP & FAIRs.
  • Ensure control plans and PFMEAs are implemented effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within Manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 & preferably AS9100
  • Experience with FMEAs, APQP, PPAP, FAIR, SPC, CAPAs, RCA.
  • Time served / apprentice trained or strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge.

Location - Burnley
Salary - circa £38k - £45k (dependent on experience) + 4 day working week!
Benefits - 31 days hols (inc BH), 4% pension, Health cash plan, fuel mileage for any business travel.
Permanent - 37 hours per week, 4-day week Mon-Thurs, 06:30am - 16:15pm.
