Job title: M&E Site Manager
Location: South East London area
Contract length: 6 months rolling contract
Work hour: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: £400 - £450/day Umbrella
Randstad Enterprise, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a M&E Site Manager on behalf of a well known business that specialises in Smart Infrastructure.
Job Purpose
You will play a crucial role in the company's initiative to manage design, installation and commissioning activities. You will also support the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle to ensure correct implementation in accordance with specifications and the contract.
The role and responsibilities

Follow and implement the technical brief and requirement for each discipline for procurement and contractual agreement with company’s suppliers and subcontractors.

Provide technical input to ensure all systems interconnect and interface correctly.

Be the lead technical support to the Project Manager through the implementation phase of the project.

Implement tools and procedures that ensure compliance with detailed document control processes.

Identify and manage change.

Be involved with progress meetings both internally and externally taking responsibility to document and record output and actions.

Take a lead coordination role in the installation progress meetings with sub contractors and produce actions and minutes for issue to all parties.

Monitor the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with the company’s processes.

Monitor the performance of Subcontractors and suppliers and put recovery measures/plans in place where required.

Manage the implementation of H&S requirements in accordance with current legislation and the procedures specified within the contract.

Implement measures to ensure compliance with the company’s internal Quality Procedures and the Clients Quality Assurance, Document Control approval processes.

Be fully engaged with the Commissioning phase and lead the commissioning teams.

Has the ability to interpret specifications and contract requirements and deliver fully compliant solutions and execution plans.

Has a proven ability to work as part of a design and delivery team.

Has proven ability to control project costs, manage change, identify and mitigate risk.

Provides detailed financial performance reports and forecasts.

Good organisational skills, Experience of working within operations teams, able to plan ahead and communicate well with the team, Suppliers and customers.
