Are you a talented and experienced Senior Structural Engineer looking for a exciting new opportunity to join an award-winning engineering firm based in Sheffield.

The successful Senior Structural Engineer will be joining a multidisciplinary firm and will be given the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects within the building sector including high rise buildings, residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Able to work collaboratively with engineers in other disciplines such as geotechnical and civil/infrastructure design
  • Attending client and project meetings to build relationships and discuss their needs and requirements

Requirements

  • BEng/MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE
  • Experience working towards British standards on Eurocodes
  • Strong academic background with a focus on structural engineering coursework
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
