CNC Operator - Position Overview
We are currently seeking a CNC Operator/Programmer, preferably with experience in operating and programming a Mazak machine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, particularly with Mazak equipment, and possess the ability to interpret technical drawings, set up machines, and optimize programs for efficiency and accuracy.
CNC Operator - Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Mazak CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering specifications.
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mazak programming language.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure proper machining processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished components to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Salary - £35,000 to £38,000 based on experience
Working hours- Monday to Thursday (4 day working week)
