Position: CNC Operator
Location: Trafford Park
Hours: 3 Shift Monday - Friday (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm -6am)
Salary: £36,000 p/a + Overtime
Contract: Permanent
Our client is a well-established Engineering company based in Trafford Park; due to growth, they are currently looking for several skilled CNC Machine Operatives to join their team, the ideal candidate will have previous experience on Machining centres / vertical lathes or borers along with experience using either Fanuc or Siemens controls or using measuring equipment such as Verniers or micrometers.
Duties:
- Experience of Fanuc & Siemens controls.
- Experience in Machining Centres / Vertical lathes & borers.
- Use of measuring equipment (Micrometers, Verniers etc).
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Understanding of tolerances and work within drawing requirements.
- Ability to amend programs using tool offsets.
- Quality Check products before dispatch.
- Worked on health and safety requirements.
Skills:
- Previous Machine Operative CNC experience.
- The ability to use Micrometers, Verniers.
- Excellent Communication skills.
