Marshall have announced that they will be moving this role to Alconbury Weald (PE28). Planned move will be towards the end of 2025
Marshall require a new Production Engineer to join the Operations Planning Department.
The successful candidate will be expected to support, and where required, take the lead on projects with the following responsibilities;
Responsibilities:
Concurrent Engineering and input into Product Development
Supporting the bid, estimating and ongoing product cost development processes
Creation of Standard Routings, work instructions and BoM's from Engineering data
Setting of estimated Operation times
Creation of Shop Orders and Job Packs
Involvement in Design amendments and the further updates to manufacturing data and the rework of Parts
Reporting of Planning and Manufacturing progress
Liaising with Purchasing for outsource of work
Tooling/ Jig Design & Development
Support and pursue Continuous Improvement initiatives
Ideally you will have:
Experience within a Manufacturing or Production Environment
Experience with the use of MRP/ERP systems and proficient in the use of MS Office applications
Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and other related data
Apprenticeship, Professional Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
