Are you looking to work with a leading specialist manufacturing business as a Quality Engineer with responsibility for production and customer quality issues?
Kingscroft has been asked to recruit for a Quality Engineer for specialist manufacturing operation. As the ideal candidate you will have experience of working as a Quality Engineer within a high volume production environment with a passion for driving production quality , investigating non-conformance and dealing with customer concerns and reports.
The role will involve:
- Managing production quality through analysis of production and customer data
- Supporting the Quality manager with reports and communication with the customers
- Support the Quality Manager with project development (Process FMEA, Control plan, Quality instructions, process capabilities etc)
- Audit and develop SOPs to detect non conformance and areas of improvement
- Lead product Segregation containment (OK / N OK parts) and lead production in investigation and corrective actions
- Active role in NPI introduction
- Liaise between production departments and internal customers
- Act as a champion for Quality and Manufacturing Best Practice across the business
