A world leader in the design and manufacture of safety equipment for military and civil aircrafts are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Key Accountabilities - Mechanical Design Engineer
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and testing to develop innovative mechanical designs for ejection seats and related systems.
+ Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
+ Conduct structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and tolerance analysis to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
+ Generate design documentation, including specifications, technical reports, and test plans.
+ Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and knowledge required - Mechanical Design Engineer
+ 2:1 or above in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
+ Understand Mechanical Engineering principles.
