Principal People are currently working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organisation who are looking for an Interim Health and Safety Advisor for the next 6 months assisting with construction based works on one of their UK locations in the Manchester region.
This role will be responsible for site based operational duties as well as overall guidance and advice to the site and management teams at this location in relation not the upgrade construction works happening on the site. This includes contractor inductions, site inspections and audits, tours and inspections, health and safety reporting, permits to work and contractor management amongst other operational duties.
They are looking for a strong communicator who is happy to work a site based, hands-on role and this is to pay a day rate of between £275-320/day. Below are the essential criteria for this contract;
Essential Criteria:

Essential Criteria:
- NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate minimum
- Hold construction based experience dealing with on site contractors
- Be available to start at short notice (within 2 weeks Maximum)
- Be an engaging, strong communicator able to liaise at all levels.
