We are currently partnering with a global engineering business in the Poole area that delivers innovative engineering solutions to large global markets. A highly thought of business that diligently supplies the world's most demanding customers. This business continues to demonstrate a healthy approach to business and proudly encourages positive change. Our client is now looking for a Production Engineer to join the team.
As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying production concerns.
Key responsibilities as Production Engineer:
- To lead design for all required tooling, jigs, and fixtures and implement accordingly.
- Liaise with internal departments, communicating effectively. You will be one of the main points of contact between the Production and Engineering teams.
- Continuously improve existing processes and procedures
- Be able to provide support that may be required to the production teams and suppliers.
- Ideally you will have at least a few years of experience as a Production Engineer, with an Electronics focus.
- An understanding and appreciation of Electronics manufacturing, with an awareness of mechanical considerations
- Demonstrable experience in working to strict deadlines and able to manage multiple projects at any one time.
