Coleman James Recruitment are working with our client in search of a Engineer to work on a permanent, full time basis.
This role will include;
- On site control of technical aspects of track construction to relevant engineering designs and tolerances using a variety of surveying equipment and techniques.
- Managing construction records.
- Production of site safety documentation including risk assessments, method statements and task briefs.
- Working closely with the Senior Engineer and/or Project Manager.
- Supporting in the project bid/tendering process.
- Providing site support to the team.
The successful candidate will have;
- Experience of working within Track and Civil Engineering.
- Experience of using 3D Surveying instruments in a construction environment.
- A degree in Engineering or related discipline with an HNC/HND as a minimum.
- Confident communication skills.
- Competent user on Microsoft packages.
- Full UK Driving License.
This is a permanent full time position with some weekend work would be necessary.
