Position: Project Manager
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 p/a

Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire
Hours: Monday to Friday with travel across the UK (some remote working may be offered after probation period)

Due to expansion, my client is a leading exterior product manufacturing company based in East Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Project Manager. Working with Blue chip clients, you will be responsible for project managing design, manufacturing and installation solutions, quoting, overseeing production and installations, site visits and reporting to the directors on progress and issue resolution.

This is a busy and varied role with projects ranging from small ad hoc jobs to major external national signage contracts. You will have a “can do” attitude and be able to work using your own initiative and working to tight deadlines. 

Although industry experience is not necessary, you will need to be experienced in project management and estimating, be able to learn quickly, have excellent numeracy, be competent to take measurements accurately and calculate the cost of work and add the required margin to create bespoke quotations. You will be adept at communicating with clients ranging from owner managed businesses to multinational organisations.

Your duties as a project manager will include

• Undertaking site surveys/meetings with clients to determine requirements and taking site measurements and photos with travel across the UK
• Liaising with clients on quotes and designs
• Liaising with the design studio to produce drawings and proofs based on clients requirements
• Working to brand guidelines and architect drawings to replicate clients requirements
• Dealing with suppliers to gain quotes
• A good knowledge of maths to calculate measurements and price jobs with correct margin requirements
• Ensure high standards are maintained from brief to handover, throughout the project

Essential skills and experience

• 2 years minimum of project management experience
• Competent to work to strict client guidelines
• Proficient in quoting
• The ability to work on your own initiative
• Capable of managing your time effectively
• Flexible attitude
• Excellent time keeping
• High levels of literacy and numeracy
• The ability to take accurate measurements and calculate costs and quotes correctly
• The ability to take direction and learn quickly
• A full, clean driving license
• Signage experience is preferred
