I am looking for a design Manager with a good civils background, to deliver civil engineering technical excellence for civil engineering works associated with station redevelopment in Birmingham.

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a civils aspect. This role would suit a design Manager with build experience on stations.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Report to the project director to deliver the civil engineering on allocated company contracts.
• Manage design for depot and site works
• Attend client meetings as required.
• Ensure integration works on site.
• Manage design process.

Essential requirements:

• Design Manager level experience in rail civils depot works
• Have five years relevant experience.
• Proven experience of managing delivery works.

Desirable:

• Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering.
