Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and prevent costly breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.
  • Utilise welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in welding techniques with hands-on experience in fabrication and repair.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
